Youngsters used their DIY skills to help raise cash for church funds.

All Saints Church and All Saints Community Project held a family fun day at the church in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, on Saturday.

Children were kept busy making bird feeders and sowing plants. Others did their bit by washing cars.

There were lots of activities for people of all ages including traditional fairground

games such as hook-a-duck and the hoopla.

Visitors could pick up a few tasty treats from the home-made cake and sweet stalls and bid for items during the auction.

Support was given on the day by volunteers from the local Scout group and local guide company.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to church funds.
