THE funeral of a father and son who died in an accident on the A228 at Stoke near Rochester in December will be held on Wednesday, January 11.

Steven Pethig, 27, and his young son Billy, will be laid to rest at 10.20am at Medway Crematorium, in Robin Hood Lane, Blue Bell Hill, near Chatham.

The pair were killed on Saturday, December 10 after their car was in collision with a red Rover as they awaited help after breaking down.

Mr Pethig died at the scene. His son died later in hospital. The pair lived on the Isle of Grain.
