Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler set to freshen up team for Bradford City match

Changes to Gillingham’s team are likely on Saturday as manager Andy Hessenthaler seeks to reinvigorate his side.
The Gills head to Bradford looking to make amends from a poor home display against Crawley, which saw them beaten 1-0 and lose ground in the chase for the Division 2 play-offs.
Hessenthaler feels he may need to change personnel to give his side a lift. He will have Lewis Montrose back from suspension, while both Jo Kuffour (pictured) and captain Andy Frampton are eager to return to the starting line-up.
Hessenthaler said: "It will be nice to freshen it up. That’s not being disrespectful to the boys because they have done great but it could be a good time for us just to freshen up and kick on for the business end of the season.
"Montrose is back with fresh legs and Andy Frampton is chomping at the bit now."
Eight-goal striker Kuffour has had to make do with a place on the bench for the last two games, after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Hessenthaler admits he was close to starting him against Crawley and looks likely to include him from the off this weekend.
Hessenthaler said: "He is ready now. We were close to starting him on Tuesday but we opted to go with the same XI. There is a good chance he will be back in the team for the weekend."
The Gills are still without suspended pair Danny Spiller and Charlie Lee but both will be available for Tuesday night’s trip to Burton.
