Gillingham midfielder Charlie Lee to miss out against Macclesfield after aggravating an injury

Charlie Lee is set to miss the game against Macclesfield after aggravating an ankle injury in Tuesday night’s defeat at Burton.
Lee (pictured) was returning from suspension but had picked up an ankle injury while out of the team, and his return lasted just nine minutes as he was taken off after coming on as a substitute.
Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler is looking to make changes for Saturday with midfielder Danny Spiller itching for a return. Spiller has also been ruled out through suspension but has been named as a substitute in the past week.
"Spiller is chomping," admitted Hessenthaler. "We will look at what we have available but we haven’t got loads of bodies to change it."
Leading scorer Danny Kedwell (back) should be back available but Gavin Tomlin remains out. He has had an injection in a troublesome hamstring injury and is now being primed for a return at Bristol Rovers on Good Friday.
New signing Rowan Vine is likely to be named on the bench again as he is still off the pace fitness-wise.
"I am not sure (if he is fit to start). He probably needs a bit more work in training," said Hessenthaler.
Hesssenthaler could also call on Oliver Lee, Ashley Miller or Jack Evans to return to the team.
