But it was Stoke that ran-out 3-1 winners in the end.
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis acknowledged the Gillingham fans after the game.

Gillingham enjoyed a spell in the lead against Premier League Stoke City in the FA Cup Third Round on Saturday but eventually went down 3-1.

KM Group photographer Barry Goodwin was there to capture the action on a day which saw the return to Priestfield of former Gills boss Tony Pulis.
