Jack Evans is desperate for a run in the Dartford first team after beginning a second month on loan at Princes Park.

The 19-year-old has been a peripheral figure for the Darts since arriving from Gillingham in January.

Having been told he can leave Priestfield on a free transfer, Evans is eager to open a new chapter in his career by impressing at Princes Park.

But chances have been limited for the versatile midfielder, with most of his appearances for the Blue Square Bet Premier side coming from the bench.

Evans (pictured) said: "This month I want to play games for Dartford and win games for Dartford. I wanted to go out (on loan) to play games.

"I only played a couple of games. I wasn’t really involved last month but there are more league games this month. I haven’t been able to show what I can do, so hopefully I’ll get some games."

Evans played seven league games for the Gills under former manager Andy Hessenthaler last season but it’s been a different story this term.

Martin Allen, Hessenthaler’s successor, brought Evans off the bench in Gillingham’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat at Crawley but the teenager has not featured at all in League 2.
