Three crew have been rescued by helicopter after their yacht ran aground off of the Kent coast.

Dover Coastguard received a mayday call from the yacht Barraccuda in the early hours of this morning.

It had hit difficulties and ran aground at Goodwin Sands near Deal. None of the crew sustained any injuries.
