Vera Pigott has more to celebrate than most today as she marks her 103rd birthday.

Vera, who lives in Sutton Valence, wasn't planning a big celebration - she puts her 103 years partly down to a quieter life.

But she does enjoy a spot of bingo and reading her favourite newspaper, the Kent Messenger.
