The people of Kent have been waking up and rushing to their windows to see if snow has arrived.

Yesterday Kent's gritting team predicted it would be the west of the county that would get a covering and that seems to be the case so far.

This picture shows the snow in Goudhurst this morning and was sent in by Clare Sheffield.
