Hunt for man after store cash is stolen

POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary at a shop in a Kent village.

A quantity of cash was stolen in the incident, which happened between 10pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday at the Co-op store in Main Road, Hoo, near Rochester.

Officers want to trace a man who is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall and of slim build. He was wearing a blue hooded top with red and white sleeves, blue jeans, white trainers and a white baseball cap.

He was also wearing purple latex gloves.
