Flowers placed where Vicky Hamilton's remains were discovered

The case of a handyman charged with murdering a schoolgirl whose remains were found at a Margate house is entering its latest phase.

A second preliminary hearing took place on Wednesday at the High Court in Edinburgh, ahead of the trial of Peter Tobin.

The 62-year-old denies murdering teenager Vicky Hamilton from Redding, near Falkirk.

The 15-year-old disappeared after waiting for a bus in Bathgate, West Lothian, in February 1991.
