Ebbsfleet chairman John Moules has announced he is to resign from his role.

Mr Moules, who joined the Fleet in June 2008, has also been acting chief executive at Stonebridge Road since April.

A statement from Ebbsfleet said: "The board would like to thank John for carrying out these unpaid roles, especially for his efforts in improving the communication flow between the club and members plus ensuring the Stonebridge Road ground will be ready for the Conference campaign in August.

"We're sure members will join us in wishing him every success in the future."

No announcement has been made about when Mr Moules will step down as chairman, although his duties at chief executive were due to end in mid-July.
