A big party is planned on Saturday to mark the 10th birthday of Revolution Skatepark at St Peter’s.

Three visiting skateboard teams have been booked to give displays along with professional in-line skaters and BMX riders.

For the under 18s, the fun starts at 10am and runs until 8pm. For the adults, the party runs from 8pm to midnight.

Throughout the day there will be live music, a barbecue, giveaways and mini competitions sponsored by a series of skate suppliers. Tickets for either session are £15.

The venue is one of only a handful of skate parks to reach the 10 year milestone. It runs popular weekly skateboarding lessons, features a climbing centre, and surf school.
