Junior korfball trio in GB squad

THREE Invicta and two Kwiek players from Kent are in line to take part in the Junior Korfball World Cup.

The players have been selected for the Great Britain under-19 korball squad after impressing at trials.

Charmagne Francis, Sarah-Jane Hubbard and Adam Smith will represent Invicta in the 16-strong squad, while Kwiek players Hannah Memmott and Dan Woolmer have also been picked.

Franci Taylor and Luke Francis of Invicta have been named as first reserves for the squad.

The squad, managed by Invicta's Irene Francis, is being held in Roden in Holland between April d 11, with a record number of 12 countries taking part.
