Kent basks in spring sunshine

Kent is basking in temperatures of up to 26C today.

It is expected to be the warmest April day in nearly 70 years as sunshine arrives this week.

It looks like temperatures are set to stay warm as the mercury will fall slightly to 23C tomorrow and 20C on Saturday.

Gravesend recorded temperatures of 26C.
