A WOMAN has been killed in a head-on car crash.
The 47-year-old victim, from Beckenham, was one of two drivers killed in the collision in the west country, on Saturday.
Her four-year-old son, who was a rear seat passenger, received minor chest injuries and was taken to hospital.
His mother died at the scene, on the A303 in Wiltshire, about 11 miles west of Stonehenge. A 75-year-old man also died in the crash.
The woman and her son were driving west in a red Nissan Primera on a single carriageway section of the road, at Chicklade Bottom, when they collided with a Citroen Picasso and Vauxhall Astra, travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Astra, from Devon, died in hospital and his female passenger received serious injuries and is being treated in hospital.
The driver and passenger of the Citroen were unhurt.
The road is the main route through the west country and the scene of the crash is a notorious accident hotspot.
Police said there had been another fatal collision on the same stretch of road on Tuesday.
An inquest is expected to open on Thursday.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to call 01722 435356.
