Killing of unarmed bin Laden 'leaves uncomfortable feeling'

The Archbishop of Canterbury revealed today the killing of an unarmed Osama bin Laden left him with "a very uncomfortable feeling".

Bin Laden's death was announced on Monday. He had been shot dead in his compound in Pakistan.

It later emerged the terrorist was unarmed when US commandos killed him.

Dr Rowan Williams said: "When we are faced with someone who was manifestly a war criminal - it is important that justice is seen to be served."
