KENT teenager Aaron Hadlow won his third consecutive PKRA World Kitesurf title.

The 17-year-old beat off strong competition from his global competitors in the tropical waters of Brazil on Saturday.

Hadlow said: "It is unbelievable to become three times world champion, it was always my goal to win it once and for it to happen three times is beyond my wildest dreams."

The PKRA World Championship is a gruelling nine-stage competition with stages in Venezuela, Belgium, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Fuerteventura, Germany, Canada, Spain, and ultimately Brazil.

Jason Furness, team manager of Flexifoil, who have supported Hadlow throughout his career to date, said: "I first spotted Aaron when he was just 11years old, you could see then that this kid had something special."

Hadlow himself recognises the support given to him by Flexifoil. He added: "It’s thanks to their belief in me that I am where I am today."
