A learner motorcyclist is facing a nerve-racking driving test as he prepares for it without his motorbike.

With just under three weeks to go until his test, 20-year-old Larkfield student Adam Dench has been left bike-less after thieves took his 125cc Red Kymco Pulsar from outside his girlfriend’s flat in Tunbridge Wells.

Mr Dench, a TV production student and Kent Air Ambulance volunteer, of New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, still hopes the bike may be returned after the theft on Sunday night.

And he said he was determined to go ahead and take his test on Thursday, August 21, despite the theft.

“I’ve ridden the bike a lot but I’m going to have to go a couple of weeks without practice,” he said. “I’ll have to take the test on the instructors bike.

“It’s annoying people feel the need to steal things; I’ve worked hard and saved up and now it’s all gone.”

Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the bike should call West Kent Police on 01732 379170 or email: appeals.westkent@kent.pnn.police.uk
