All lanes have re-opened after a lorry jack-knifed on the A2 earlier this afternoon.

Kent Police were called to the incident at 3.21pm after reports the lorry was blocking the A2 coastbound in the Cobham area.

There were no serious injuries and the carriageway has been cleared.

The Highways Agency also attended the scene as traffic officers held cars at Pepper Hill to avoid congestion
