kmfm has made a listener £1,000 richer in time for the weekend with the station's new £1k Question.

Kay Shortall from Gillingham got a surprise call from presenter Glen Scott on kmfm Drivetime after she was chosen at random from the thousands of listeners who correctly answered the day's one simple question.

She was getting ready for a night out when she received the call.

She didn't even have to wait for her money either.

She has had the best start to the weekend because the kmfm Street Team delivered the £1,000 to her in person.

As it is her boss' leaving do tonight, the drinks may be on Kay.
