A 101-year-old man has died after falling from a window near Sittingbourne.

The Kent Air Ambulance, paramedics and police were called to The Vallance, Lynsted, at 1.40pm on Tuesday.

They responded to reports of a fall from a first floor window and the man died at the scene from his injuries.

He has been named locally as Archie Bowling.

Police confirmed they attended the scene and that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
