A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Andrew Worton from Margate.

The 52-year-old was found seriously injured at a property in Hillbrow road, Ramsgate on Sunday evening. He was taken to the QEQM hospital but died on Monday morning.

Thomas McConnell of Hugin Avenue, Broadstairs will appear at Margate magistrates today.

He was arrested by officers from Kent's major crime department on Sunday.
