A motorbike rider is fighting for his life after falling from his bike at a roundabout.

The 30-year-old is in a critical condition after being airlifted to King's College Hospital, London following the accident in Sandwich yesterday.

The Margate man was riding a black Yamaha motocycle along the A256 in the Dover direction when the crash happened near the Richborough power station at 10.30am. No other vehicle is believed to have been involved.
