Man flown to hospital after emergency response in Leigh Road, Sittingbourne

A man was flown to hospital with serious injuries after an incident yesterday morning.

Officers were called to Leigh Road, Sittingbourne, at around 12.40am on Saturday.

On arrival paramedics were treating a man for his injuries before he was flown to a London hospital.

A 19-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.

He remains in police custody while inquiries into what happened are ongoing.

Police have been unable to confirm what the nature of the man's injuries were or what the suspect was arrested for.
