Margate Rock Takaloo back in action at the Doncaster Dome on the Jamie McDonnell-Stuart Hall undercard

Margate boxer Takaloo is set to return to the ring on Saturday after a three year absence.
The former WBU welterweight and light-middleweight champion is warming up ahead of his Prizefighter showdown on September 15.
Takaloo is set to be the star name in the eight-man knock-out tournament.
Firstly Takaloo has been paired with Chris Brophy at the Doncaster Dome as part of the undercard for the triple title bout between Jamie McDonnell and Stuart Hall.
Iranian-born Takaloo, 35, will fight in a four round contest in what is expected to be a routine outing against Brophy.
Light-middleweight fighter Takaloo, known as the Margate Rock, was last in the ring in January 2008 against Anthony Small where he lost the vacant Southern Area title bout on a technical KO.
He has recently renewed his boxing licence with the British Boxing Board of Control and will be out to recapture some of the top nights that came his way a decade ago.
In 2000 he clinched the IBF Inter Continetal light-middleweight title and ended Anthony Farnell’s 26-fight unbeaten streak with a one round KO to win the WBU crown.
He bounced back from being knocked down by Wayne Alexander in a one-punch KO in 2004 with a trio of wins but his career looked over after defeats to Michael Jennings in April 2007 and then Small.
