A 53-year-old Medway woman has been given a five-year anti-social behaviour order after police received 146 calls about her behaviour in the past year.
Eileen Hutton, of Northcote Road, Strood is banned from shouting threatening, abusive or insulting language that cause harassment, alarm or distress to other people.
Hutton has already been in custody 19 times already in 2009 and in May pleaded guilty to four charges of assaulting police officers and two charges of harassment. She was initially given a community order and now an ASBO.
Ch Insp Peter de Lozey said: "Mrs Hutton has caused persistent problems for neighbours and law-abiding members of the local community in Strood. A five-year anti social behaviour order is a significant step in improving the quality of those people’s lives."
Peter Jackson, anti-social behaviour officer at Medway Police Station, said: "Kent Police in Medway are committed to working with partner agencies and the community to make Medway a safer place to live, where people can enjoy their own homes and environment in peace. This action is another significant step towards achieving this."
