Folkestone Invicta's James Everitt

Folkestone Invicta's Ryman League Premier Division survival chances suffered a blow with a 4-1 defeat at Tooting & Mitcham on Tuesday night.

Neil Cugley's side were a goal down at the break and collapsed in the second half with the hosts adding three more goals before James Everitt (pictured) netted a late consolation from the penalty spot.

Invicta are second-bottom and seven points from safety with just a single game in hand remaining.

Corinthian Casuals win over Chipstead on Tuesday saw Chatham Town drop into the Ryman League Division 1 South relegation zone.

With six games left the Chats are two points adrift with an inferior goal difference.

Ramsgate boosted their play-off credentials with a 2-1 win at Godalming - their fourth straight win.

After a goalless first half Mark Lovell opened the scoring 10 minutes after the break only for the hosts to level 20 minutes from time.

However Mitchell Sherwood struck the winner to take the Rams up to seventh and just two points behind the top five, despite having played more games than the sides above them.

Sittingbourne's push seems over after a 2-0 defeat at promotion-chasing Leatherhead left them eight points off the pace having played a game more than the sides they are chasing.

The Tanners took the lead shortly before the half-hour and also struck the woodwork twice before adding their killer second 18 minutes from time.
