A missing man has been found safe and well.

Police appealed for the public's help in finding Edward Twomey after he went missing from his home in Seal, Sevenoaks, at 4am yesterday.

The 72 year old, who has Alzheimer's disease, was found in Edenbridge last night.

A police spokesman said: "We would like to thank the media and local residents in West Kent for their assistance."
