Met Office issues yellow warning of rain for Kent

The Met Office is warning of more heavy rain across Kent this evening.

Another yellow warning of rain has been issued, effective from 10pm tonight and into Monday morning.

The warning said: "A band of heavy rain will run northeastwards across the south east of England from late Sunday evening, clearing into the North Sea during Monday morning.

"While some areas will not see large totals, please be aware of the potential for localised disruption to travel."

The chief forecaster said 5-10mm of rain was possible in an hour, with 30mm in some places.
