A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Strood.

The accident happened at 4.30pm on Saturday in Cuxton Road.

The victim has not been formally identified but was a 32-year-old man from the Medway area.

It is thought the driver and passengers in the car were unhurt.

A section of the road was closed for several hours while officers from the serious collision investigation unit examined the scene.
