A Margate man is due to go on trial today accused of murdering a student.

Tommy Balsom, 25, died of stab wounds after a disturbance in Margate last September.

Ian Deadman, 45, of Canterbury Road in the town denies murder.

The trial is due to get under way at Maidstone Crown Court this morning.
