Name picked for hand-reared monkey

A competition through local school children has come up with a name for a baby dianna monkey at Port Lympne wild animal park.
Ayla Dray, eight, from Seabrook Primary School suggested Keymon – an anagram of monkey.
Keymon was born on Good Friday and is being hand reared by his keepers because his mother, Angie, was unable to look after him.
He was originally nicknamed Ronnie after the Zoo8 music festival’s headline act, Mark Ronson.

Keymon is still being looked after by keepers but spends all his time at the park in the close vicinity of his parents and siblings.
He will be re-introduced to his family completely in the next few months.
