New town plans revealed at army base exhibition

Site of new town on Hoo peninsula

Exhibitions to show the public more about the major plans for developing Lodge Hill at Chattenden are under way.

Land Securities has been chosen by Defence Estates to bring forward the development which will include around 5,000 new homes, community facilities and job opportunities.

The first exhibition was held yesterday at The Lodge, Chattenden.

Further showings will take place today at Hundred of Hoo School, Main Road, from 5pm-8pm and tomorrow at Chattenden Community Centre, Swinton Avenue, 10am-3pm.
