Midfielder Josh Wright has Championship side Scunthorpe on a free transfer.

The Charlton youngster, who finished the season on loan at Gillingham, has signed a two year deal with the Iron.

Wright impressed during his spell at Priestfield and helped the club win the League 2 play-off final at Wembley against Shrewsbury and with it promotion to League 1.

The 19-year-old also played on loan at Brentford last season as well as making three first team appearances for Charlton against Burnley and Barnsley in the league and Norwich in an FA Cup third round replay.
