Park owners fear meerkat may have been stolen from Wingham Wildlife Park

A meerkat stolen from a wildlife park has been found dead in a dog waste bin.

Staff at the Wingham Wildlife Park say they are "upset" after the meerkat was found by a member of the public .

It's believed it may have been run over by a car.

The theft was discovered by keepers at the park on December 29, but the park has only revealed the theft this week.
