POLICE were today continuing to search for a gang believed to have fired two shots in Medway.
Five men, described as black and aged 20 and 30, are thought to have used an air gun to fire shots outside a nightclub and in a pizza takeaway on the A2.
In the first incident, one of them is believed to have opened fire outside the Bar Rio in Featherby Road, Gillingham at about 8.30pm on Sunday. The men sped off in their dark Ford Fiesta before police arrived, but a pellet was found outside the club.
They are believed to have been asked to leave the club after a previous incident when they were found carrying knives.
Ten minutes later, a staff member at Domino's Pizza, on Chatham Hill, was hit in the top of the leg by an air gun pellet as he took a telephone order. Police said the man was not seriously hurt.
Sgt Robin Wharfe today renewed the appeal information about the shots. He said: "We are linking the two incidents, but the investigation is still ongoing into the circumstances of both."
"We have not made any arrests in connection with the incidents, but would urge anyone with information about what happened to come forward."
