Several tonnes of rock and boulders have crashed onto land near a restaurant after a cliff fall at St Margaret's Bay.
Police and other emergency services are at the bay between Dover and Deal where a large part of the cliff fell just after 1pm today.
Officers are using rescue dogs and thermal imaging equipment to ensure no walkers have been injured or trapped by the rock fall.
Police are also warning all walkers and visitors to stay away from this particular cliff area as this is the second rock fall in the last week.
