Kent Police officer injured when car failed to stop

A police officer was injured by a defendant trying to leave a crime scene.

Kent Police RPU posted on Twitter revealing the incident from earlier today.

The team were working the tactical operations to catch someone who had failed to stop and injured a police officers when he left the scene.

The tweet read: "Vehicle tactically stopped with @KPTacOps containing an offender who has failed to stop and made off injuring a Kent Officer. #fim #fcr. Vehicle stopped and offender detained. #YouCanRunYouCantHide SL"
