Put your pet in the frame to help RSPCA

Volunteer Vonny Glass and baby rat Bob - will his picture be a winner?

A pet show with a difference is being staged by Thanet RSPCA’s East Kent Animal Centre.

No animals will be on display as the event involves submitting photographs to one or more of 20 classes.

Winners pictures are displayed at the centre’s dog show and open day on Sunday, June 22.

Entries are £1 per photo per class and open to any pet. Owners can enter as many photos and classes as they like with all the proceeds boosting RSPCA funds.

Categories are Funkiest Feline, Cat in the Most Unusual Place, Best Big Pet, Any Small Furry, Any Other Pet, Brightest Eyes, Worst Hair Do, Cheekiest Pet, Oddest Pair, Two of a Kind, Best Group, Best Action Photo, Best Non Action Photo, Best Friends, Biggest Show Off, Funniest Photo, Bonniest Baby, Best OAP, Best Rehomed, Memorial Class.

Photos must be marked clearly with name, address and class on the back. A stamped, addressed envelope must be enclosed for their return.

Entries must be marked photo show and arrive before June 20 at RSPCA, Queensdown Road, Woodchurch, Birchington, CT7 0HG.

Limited entries will be taken on the day.

Schedules can be obtained from 01843 826180 or by visiting one of the RSPCA charity shops or the centre.
