DOUBLE the number of recovering drug addicts will now be able to use a rehab centre in Bromley town centre – despite opposition from locals.

A council planning committee also agreed to vary conditions which means it can stay open for at least another three years and until 8pm one evening a week.

South London and Maudsley NHS Trust was granted permission in 2004 to transform offices into the clinic.
