Kent Remembrance Sunday services

Events will be held around the county today to commemorate those who lost their lives fighting for Britain.
Dartfordat the War Memorial, Central Park starting 10.40am
Following the service starting at 10.40am, there will be a parade by veterans, uniformed and youth organisations.
The High Street and Market Street will be closed to traffic from 10.15am until the end of the event at around midday.
Sevenoaksat the Vine War Memorial, Dartford Road starting 10.50am
Members of the public should gather from 10.40am for the service at 10.50am.
Tunbridge Wellsat the War Memorial, Mount Pleasant Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells starting 10.45am
After the service and wreath laying at the War Memorial, there will be a March Past in which the mayor will take the salute at is passes the Town Hall.
At 2pm wreaths will be layed at the two Cross of Sacrifice memorials and the Mayor will be in attendance.
This will be followed by a talk by the Royal British Legion in the cemetery chapel at 2.45pm.
Civic Road will be closed until around midday and there may be traffic disruption around the town centre until the event ends.
Tonbridgein the Memorial Gardens, Bradford Street starting at 10.45am
The service and wretah laying will start in the gardens at 10.45am.
This will be following by a parade from the gardens to Tonbridge Castle, passing the Town Memorial at the Watergate.
Snodlandparade starting 2.30pm
The parade will start at Holmesdale Technology College and will end at Snodland Cemetery, where a service will take place. After the service, the parade will continue to the Paddlesworth Rooms in Waghorn Road.
Gravesendat the Windmill Hill Memorial Gardens, Clarence Place starting at 10.40am
The parade will leave from Trinity Road at around 10.40am and there will be a serive and wreath laying at the Memorial Gardens.
West Malling
Events start at 2pm and the Mayor will take the salute by the pump in the High Street.
The parade will then continue to St Mary’s Church for a Service of Remembrance at 2.30pm.
This will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial outside the church.
Rochester
Rochester Cathedral, starting 10.40am
Following the Royal British Legion service, there will be a wreath laying at the Rochester war memorial and a parade through the high street.
Chatham
There will be a service and wreath laying in Victoria Gardens starting at 10.45am
Gillingham
Great Lines War Memorial at 9am and Black Lion War Memorial at 9.55am
The Royal Naval Service will take place at the War Memorial, which includes a wreath laying.
At 9.55am, the Black Lion War Memorial act of remembrance will take place, with a procession to St Mark's Church to follow.
Rainham
St Margaret's Church starting 10.15am
There will be a remembrance service and wreath laying from 10.15am.
Maidstone
Parade from 10.30am.
The parade will start from Week Street and end at the memorial on The Broadway, where the remembrance service will take place.
After, the parade will make its way back along the highstreet where the mayor will take the salute outside the town hall.
Sittingbourne
War Memorial, Central Avenue, starting 10.50am.
Wreaths will be laid at the service and to follow there will be a parade.
The mayor, her cadet and a representative from the Royal British Legion will take the salute at it passes the front of the police station.
Sheerness
Cenotaph, starting 10.30am.
Following the short service and wreath laying at Cenotaph, there will be a parade ending at the Holy Trinity Church.
There will then be a service at the church in Broadway from 11.45am.
Faversham
War Memorial, Stone Street, at 10.45am.
There will be wreath laying at the War Memorial at 10.45am, ahead of the service at the St Mary of Charity church, where there will also be a wreath laying.
Ashford
Memorial Gardens and St Mary's Church Hall starting 10.35am.
Following a parade from St Mary's Church Hall, there will be wreath laying and a minutes silence will be held in the gardens.
New Romney
St Nicholas Church, starting at 10.45pm.
There will be a remembrance service held at the church, and there will be free parking at Church Road car park from 10am until 2pm.
Whitstable
War Memorial, starting 10.30am.
The Royal British Legion's remembrance commemoration will be attended by the former Lord mayor councillor Sally Waters.
Canterbury
Canterbury Cathedral, from 9.30am.
Following the service hosted by the cathedral, there will be a reception in Tower House.
There will also be a wreath laying at Blean village hall from 2.50pm.
Herne Bay
Christ Church, starting 9.30am.
Christ Church will be holding their Remembrance Day service from 9.30am.
Aylesham
Parade from 10.15am.
The parade will pass through Hyde Place, Dorman Avenue South and Market Place.
There will be a wreath laying in Market Square at 10.45am alongside an open air service.
Dover
War Memorial, Biggin Street starting 10am.
There will be a remembrance service, wreath laying and parade at the War Memorial opposite the town council offices.
Deal
War Memorial, starting 10.50am.
Those wishing to attend should gather at 10.30am to start at 10.50am outside the entrance of Deal Hospital.
Margate
Zion Place at 10.30am.
The remembrance parade will start at Zion Place and will end at the War Memorial where the service and wreath laying will take place.
Ramsgate
Elms Club at 10.30am.
The march will start at the Elms Club and pass through Queen Street, the High Street and end at St George’s Church for the remembrance service.
Broadstairs
There will be a service at the Broadstairs War Memorial from 10.45am.
