A two vehicle crash on the M2 London-bound carriageway, caused delays on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash, between an Audi and a BMW happened close to the Strood turn-off at about 4.25pm.

No one was seriously hurt in the accident, but carriageway was closed for almost an hour to allow to be cleared and the cars removed.

The carriageway was reopened at about 5.15pm.
