Father Christmas is ready to deliver presents across Kent
Father Christmas will enjoy ideal weather conditions as he delivers presents across Kent tonight, according to a forecaster.
County weather expert Shaun Maltby, from Strood, predicted he will have a speedy trip on his open-topped sleigh.
Low pressure will bring windy conditions - but this should actually help globe-trotting Santa on his way.
He is due to hit the county from midnight on his annual present delivery run.
Shaun, who runs kent-weather.co.uk, said: "Recent forecast data shows that with low pressure close to the UK, we're to see mild temperatures for Santa's flight into Kent - so no frosty, roofs for the reindeer to land on, which is good news!
"With low pressure does come windy conditions and while in usual circumstances this is a problem, for Santa this assists in a speedy trip at sleigh flight level from town to town delivering those all-important presents."
