The A20 has been closed in both directions during a security alert at Dover Docks.

Traffic has built up due to the incident on the A2 Jubilee Way at its junction with East Cliff.

All roads approaching the Eastern docks have been closed and port officials are investigation the situation, which started just before 5pm.

Army bomb disposal experts are said to dealing with the alert.
