Service station cashier threatened in raid

A CASHIER was threatened and then forced into a storeroom by two men in a robbery at a service station in Staplehurst High Street.

The two thugs burst into the service station at about 9.45pm on Saturday. They made off with tobacco and a quantity of cash. No weapon was seen.

Both offenders are described as white and aged between 25 and 30. One was about 6ft 4in, broad and wearing a dark hooded top and dark jeans. The second was about 6ft in and was wearing a hooded top with light coloured writing on it.
