Published: 11:55, 23 June 2011
There was traffic chaos at rush hour after sheep strayed onto the M20 slip road this morning.
Police closed the slipway at Junction 11 and Stone Street, Stanford, at 7.35am after receiving reports that two sheep had escaped.
Officers created a rolling roadblock on the coastbound carriageway to slow the traffic.
The farmer was found and the animals were rounded up by a sheep dog before being returned to their field.
The roads were reopened at 8.30am.
