New Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division champions Hartley Country Club completed their season in style with a six-wicket victory over Blackheath on Saturday.

James Cramp (5-24) and Charlie Hemphrey (3-28) combined to bowl out Blackheath for 158 and then Dan Stickels carried his bat for 80 as Hartley romped past their target in the 40th over, thus winning all of their seven completed win/lose games to remain unbeaten in the second half of the season.

Last year's champions Bromley clinched the runners-up spot with a 44-run victory at The Mote. Bromley chose to bat and made 260-7, Stephen Bailes top scoring with 47. Caspian Pagett (54) and Tom Harvey (50) led The Mote's response but the relegated Maidstone club found their target too great, finishing on 216-5.

Geoff Paulsen of Tunbridge Wells ended his season on a high note with a superb century to help Tunbridge Wells defeat Sevenoaks Vine with two balls to spare.

Sevenoaks set a target of 270-8, with Anthony Shales hitting exactly 100, but then Paulsen stole the show, hitting an unbeaten 153 from 159 balls to steer Wells home by five wickets.

Lordswood secured third place after a three-wicket success over bottom club Sibton Park. Set a target of 235 to win, they cruised home in 37.1 overs thanks to an unbeaten 127 from opener Kevin Jones off just 97 balls.

Bexley finished one point behind Lordswood following their seven-wicket win over Bickley Park. Joe Russell took 5-46 as Park were bowled out for 194 and then opener Greg Bain led Bexley to victory with an unbeaten 104.
