Leaders Hartley Country Club consolidated their position at the top of the Premier Division in the Shepherd Neame Kent League with victory over Sevenoaks Vine on Saturday.

Hartley were indebted to a third-wicket stand of 129 between Matthew Walker (62 not out) and James Hockley (80), who set the hosts on the way to a three-wicket win. Earlier, Walker chipped in with two wickets as Sevenoaks were kept down to 198-9 from their 50 overs.

Chris Harris blasted three sixes in his 101 which helped Bromley to 229-7 declared from 42.5 overs and a 78-run win over Sibton Park. Bromley's bowlers did their job, with Chris Harris, Grant Sheen and Matthew Dennington all taking two wickets, restricting the basement side down to 151-8.

Bexley defeated Lordswood by 27 runs in a tighter match. Opener Greg Bain top-scored with 65 in Bexley's 223-7. The visitors lost wickets at regular intervals, with Alistair Neal's 59 the chief contribution in Lordswood's 196 all out.

Matthew White's 100 not out from 119 balls was in vain as The Mote slipped to a six-wicket defeat to Blackheath. Kent batsman Daniel Bell-Drummond saw Blackheath home, hitting 19 fours in an unbeaten 132 from 114 balls.

The highest scoring Premier Division game of the afternoon saw Tunbridge Wells overhaul Bickley Park's 240-4 with three overs to spare. Jamie Baldwin guided Wells home to a six-wicket win with an unbeaten 56 from 51 balls.
