Stunning garden sculptures feature in charity exhibition at Nettlestead

If you can't make it to Chelsea Flower Show this year, why not
consider visiting the Nettlestead Place sculpture exhibition?

Three charities will benefit from the unique event which opens
Friday, May 15.

Overlooking the River Medway valley, the gardens at Nettlestead
Place, near Maidstone, will provide a stunning backdrop for more
than 50 sculptures created by several leading artists including
Dominic Benhura and Ev Meyall,

The event is being held in support of ZANE (Zimbabwe A National Emergency), Ataxia UK and the Fifth Trust - a day care centre based in Canterbury.

All sculptures will be for sale with prices starting from around
£100. A percentage from each sale will be donated to the three
charities.

Kent sculptors include Peter Clarke, Juliet Simpson (Sevenoaks)
Annette Stephens (Maidstone) and Victoria Baxter as well as, Diane
Coates, Maria Albiez, Bill Lazard, Pam Walker, Tim Murray, Frank
Nunneley, Rosemarie Powell, Kay Singla and Angie Doy.

There will be a private viewing on Friday, May 15, at
6pm. Tickets costing £15 each will include wine and canapés.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 17, the exhibition will be open from
11am to 4pm. Tickets will cost £5 at the gate. From Monday to
Friday, May 22 the exhibition will open from 4pm until 8pm and
tickets will be £3. Concessions will be £2 throughout the week.
Refreshments will be available.
